Picture yourself through a series of unexpected events in charge of a small parking lot, there's a 1993 Vauxhall Corsa (how did that get over here?) in the corner. It hasn't been touched or moved in years and after contacting the widow of the previous parking lot manager, and the manager before that, you give up on trying to source the owner. You hire a friend of a friend who has one of those trucks you can put a car onto the bed of, not a tow-truck but like, it's a close relative to that sort of thing. The car has been rummaged through at least a dozen times by bored teenagers, the doors haven't been locked in years to prevent needless break-ins. there is nothing of value in this car, but you give it a last once over before it goes wherever old cars end up. Inside, there's a couple of empty cigarette packages from a time before they displayed those shocking images of what smoking does to a person, and a 710ml bottle (remember the days?) of Barq's root-beer, but the cream soda variety. You don't bother throwing this in the trash because the entire car is essentially garbage, so much that you contemplate moving some old electronics into the backseat to be sent away alongside the vehicle, mostly a broken coffee maker, a microwave and an xbox 360 that doesn't work. There's an electronics pick up fee and maybe this is a clever way to subvert it. never-mind, the friend of a friend is here with this awkward looking truck. As you're reclining the passenger seat back up, you reach under and feel something. It's caked with dried, clay coloured mud and dog hair. Was there a dog living here? It has hand-scribbled text on it that reads 'genetic vibrations, lust of the flesh'. You have a stereo back in the office, you think, one of those square cd + 2 tape deck things that started at what felt like $600 and eventually became worthless. Maybe the cassette deck motors still work? You make plans to throw this on later and see what it is, probably.
